Not caring for the rain or the cold, over three hundred people have litterarly assaulted our shop to obtein a signature by Dave Mustaine, former MEGADETH's guitarist. Together with the other new members of the historical band, Dave has been for over one hour with his fans, signing hundreds of autographs for the happiness of the people. A very big event, impossible without the precious help given by ESP and by JUNGLE SOUND STATION, we hope to repeat it soon! For AXTRA and for me personally, it has really been a not-easy- to- be-forgotten occasion, Both because of the signing by all band's members on one of the Jackson KV guitars always used by me for the tribute, now it will go "under glass" with the signatures of MEGADETH, WHITESNAKE, GAMMA RAY and DEMON (that surely I don't wanna risk canceling with my sweat :-) and because with the help of the exquisite courtesy of the band's staff, italian ESP distributor has been able to receive one of the only 500 worldwide models of DV-8 Limited Edition for myself. What can I say? Having the honor to use DETH as "express courier", I don't believe it's something happening all days, right? EH EH EH This technological splendour in a "red-fading-yellow" finish, goes to increase my personal list of memorabilias, together with the yet described KV-4 super-signed, the Jackson Y2KV, coming directly from Dave Mustaine's personal guitars, won against all possible financial odds during the auction for the "end of the band's career", after the accident to Dave's hand, back in 2001 in Los Angeles, where we have been invited as a sort of italian fandom's delegation, and the other so much beloved guitars of my collection. Down here, the unforgettable moment of signings... (Only after having changed the logo from Jackson to ESP, though ;-P) ...And then again hot rockin'!!!... :-) TO THE NEXT TIME!!! Eddie.
